The Lockman Foundation is an interdenominational Christian organization dedicated to Bible translation and distribution. Founded in 1942 by F. Dewey Lockman and his wife Minna in La Habra, California, the foundation has become known for producing two major English Bible translations: the New American Standard Bible (NASB) and the Amplified Bible (AMP). The Lockman Foundation's mission is to create accurate and readable translations for the edification of the Church.
